Dr Xoliswa Majola works for the University of KwaZulu-Natal Graduate School of Business and Leadership. Has a BA in Communication Science Degree, BA Honours in Communication in Telecommunications and Information Policy from University of South Africa, Master of Commerce in Leadership (ICT and Economic Development), PhD in Leadership (Management Information Systems and Economic Development from University of KwaZulu-Natal. A lecturer in postgraduate diploma in local economic development teaching, partnerships and in postgraduate diploma in business administration she teaches business research and management information systems. Has been involved in stakeholder relationships for public private partnerships, conflict resolutions, collaborative project management and ethical leadership. Has served as an executive member of the University of KwaZulu-Natal Staff Union. Serving as an online tutor at the University of South Africa department of communication science, involved in public relations course. Has been a visiting scholar at the University Of Ontario Institute Of Technology in health informatics.
Research interests are in Big Data, Health Informatics, Leadership, Economic Development, Small Business Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
