Gordon’s experience includes senior executive roles in sales, marketing and operations roles at firms including Randstad, Dell, Rogers Communications and Apple. During his 35-year career, he built a reputation for exceeding targets by transforming processes, rethinking paradigms and building passionate teams.
As a coach and speaker, Gordon focuses on building a deep understanding of client realities and constraints then co-creates new approaches and solutions that slash costs, boost revenues and take teams to places they never thought possible. He helps new leaders break out of ruts and get to a point of flow; where struggles end and breakthrough results become the norm.
Gordon is also an innovative thinker on Financial Wellness. Employees today are stressed and not delivering their best work since they are often pre-occupied with anxiety about their finances. He is the author of the best-selling Cashflow Cookbook and uses the book content and his trademark wit to provide jargon free workshops and courses to help employees attain financial wellness, reduce their stress and allow them to focus on their jobs.
Gordon is a Professional Engineer and has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western University, an MBA from the Rotman School of Business, is a graduate of the Canadian Securities Course and a member of the National Speaker’s Association. He has volunteered with the Western University Alumni Board, the Western University Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council and the Crescent School Board of Governors. He is currently a lecturer and advisor to the Smith School of Business Executive Education.
In his free time, Gordon is an aging downhill ski racer, keen sailor, fitness enthusiast and not-yet-great (ok, not even good) guitar player. His thoughts on personal finance can be found at cashflowcookbook.com.
